Information we collect and why
When you contact us, we receive the information you choose to send, such as your name, email address, message, and project details. We use it to respond, discuss custom work, and maintain relevant business records. Please do not send sensitive personal information that is unnecessary for your inquiry.
Our WordPress website and hosting provider, Bluehost, may process technical information such as IP address, browser and device information, pages requested, timestamps, and error logs to deliver the site, troubleshoot problems, and protect against abuse.
Cookies, comments, and external content
WordPress uses cookies for functions such as sign-in and saved preferences. You can block or clear cookies in your browser, although some features may stop working. Where comments are enabled, WordPress collects the submitted comment, name, email, IP address, and browser information for moderation and spam prevention. Approved comments are public. Gravatar may process a hash of your email to display an avatar, under Automattic’s privacy policy.
If a page includes embedded media, that provider may receive technical information and use cookies as if you visited its website. External links, including links to Pinterest, Etsy, and Facebook, lead to services with their own privacy policies. Purchases made through another platform are handled under that platform’s policies; this website framework does not currently provide checkout.
Pinterest integration
GDWorkbench plans to use an authorized Pinterest connection to manage its own business content, including preparing and publishing selected Pins, organizing boards, and reviewing permitted account analytics. The integration is not currently offered as a public account-connection service. Visiting this website does not connect your Pinterest account or grant us access to it.
When enabled, the connection will use Pinterest authorization rather than requesting Pinterest passwords. Access will be limited to the approved permissions needed for the stated features, which may include account identifiers, boards, Pins, and account analytics. Publishing actions must be selected or approved by the account owner.
Pinterest API information will be used only for the authorized service. We will not sell it, share it with third parties in violation of Pinterest’s terms, or use it to train or improve AI models. API information will be retrieved when needed rather than retained, except where Pinterest expressly permits retention, such as authorized campaign analytics. Authorization credentials will be kept private and removed when no longer needed.
AI-assisted content
GDWorkbench may use AI tools to help draft descriptions and prepare its own product and project content for Pinterest. Inputs may include GDWorkbench’s own photos, product details, and draft text. Those providers process inputs under their own terms and privacy policies. The planned workflow does not send Pinterest API data, customer inquiries, or private account credentials to general-purpose AI tools.
Sharing and service providers
Information may be processed by providers needed for hosting, email, security, and the specific features you use. We may disclose information where required by law, to respond to valid legal requests, or to protect rights and security. We do not sell personal information. Service providers may process information in countries other than your own.
Retention and security
We retain inquiry and business information only as long as reasonably needed for its purpose, legal obligations, or resolving disputes. Technical logs and backups follow the applicable provider’s retention practices. Comments, if submitted, may remain until removed. We use reasonable safeguards, but no website, email system, or storage method is completely secure.
Your choices and deletion requests
Email [email protected] to request access, correction, or deletion of personal information we hold. Describe your request and the email or account involved; do not send passwords. We may need to verify your identity. Some records may be retained where required by law or for legitimate security purposes. Rights and response requirements depend on applicable law.
An authorized Pinterest account owner can revoke the app connection in Pinterest’s settings and contact us to request deletion of retained integration information. Revoking access does not automatically delete Pins already published on Pinterest; manage those in Pinterest. See Pinterest’s Privacy Policy for its practices and choices.
Children and policy updates
Our website and planned Pinterest tools are not directed to children under 13. If you believe a child has provided personal information, contact us so we can address it. We will update this policy and its effective date when our practices change, including before introducing materially different data uses.
Mailing list
You can request occasional GDWorkbench marketing emails by sending a signup email to [email protected]. The website’s signup button opens your email app; it does not collect an address or subscribe you merely by being clicked. We receive your email address, the name shown in your email, and the message you send. Signup requests and mailing-list records are currently handled manually in our Gmail inbox, with Google processing email under its Privacy Policy.
We use these details to manage your subscription and send the updates you requested. Ordinary product inquiries do not subscribe you. To unsubscribe, email [email protected] or reply to an update asking to be removed. We retain subscription details while you remain subscribed and may retain a minimal record of your opt-out to avoid contacting you again. We will update this policy when a dedicated mailing-list service is introduced.
